To activate basic metrics for the Cloud Virtual Machine, the monitoring agent for data reporting needs installation. Meanwhile, other fundamental metrics are automatically reported by Cloud and necessitate no additional steps. Accessing your data can be done effortlessly by logging into the CM console or utilizing APIs.
Through Custom Monitor’s user-friendly self-service reporting portal, you have the ability to adjust metric parameters and submit metric data effortlessly. Custom Monitor boasts robust backend data analytics and processing capabilities for the received data, storing it free of charge for a designated period. It offers diverse chart displays, including single-instance views, multi-day trend comparisons, and aggregated perspectives. Additionally, Custom Monitor facilitates exception detection with alarm and notification features, ensuring prompt identification of anomalies, triggering alarms, and sending immediate notifications for continuous business monitoring.
COP enables the configuration of alarm policies across a range of products, allowing for tailored alarm-triggering rules for metrics, monitored objects, notification recipients, and channels. For Cloud Virtual Machine (CVM) instances, tcop offers a pre-defined alarm policy. Once the default policy is set, newly acquired CVMs will automatically inherit the policy without requiring manual binding. This streamlines operations and facilitates real-time monitoring of all cloud products’ operational statuses.
COP offers a diverse range of charts capable of accommodating extensive data and presenting associated information in a cohesive manner, simplifying analytics. Lists enable swift identification of maximum and minimum values when viewing data for a single metric across multiple instances.
