Overview
Benefits
Managed Deployment
Connect to a production-ready Redis service with a few clicks in the console, reducing labor costs on manual installation, deployment, and maintenance.
Data Protection Mechanism
High Performance
Optimize the core source code to deliver ultra-high performance for most business scenarios, without the need to develop a high-speed caching layer.
Smooth Scalability
Expand capacity quickly with just one click in the console, without interrupting online business.
Comprehensive Daily Monitoring
Custom Alarms
Customize alarm policies to send notifications automatically when metrics exceed thresholds, allowing users to troubleshoot more quickly.
Data Migration
Migrate data from other sources to the cloud seamlessly by using DTS, requiring no manual migration and simplifying the cloudification process.
Automatic Disaster Recovery
Low Costs
Reduce costs on initial infrastructure setup and ongoing maintenance by deploying in the cloud. Users only pay for what they use, meeting their business needs at low cost.
Features
CloudDB for Redis (master-replica edition) is highly compatible with the open-source Redis protocol. It adopts a master-replica hot backup architecture to enable automatic master-replica switchover upon master failure, preventing data loss and service interruption.
Data Recovery
CloudDB for Redis features data rollback. The data instance to be recovered can be selected in the web-based console for data rollback, enabling convenient data recovery and preventing data loss.
Automatic Disaster Recovery
CloudDB for Redis adopts a master-replica hot backup architecture that automatically syncs the data from the master to the replica for complete data consistency. This automatic disaster recovery mechanism does not require user intervention and can prevent data loss and service interruption.
Smooth Scalability
CloudDB for Redis allows you to expand your storage capacity with just one click in the web-based console. This automated process has no impact on your business and does not require the use of any process controls. The expanded instance inherits the IP address and all the configurations of the original instance.
Monitoring and Alarms
CloudDB for Redis monitors and visualizes performance metrics for QPS and most Redis commands such as set/get. You can configure alarms to receive email/SMS notifications when metrics exceed thresholds. This feature is free and allows you to quickly locate problems.
Instance Management
CloudDB for Redis provides a web-based console for managing instances, where you can create/back up/roll back instances and use dedicated tools to import and export data. You can view all tasks and their progress bars in the task center. You don’t need to write scripts for Ops, greatly reducing your development time.
Scenarios
You can store non-role data such as leaderboard data in CloudDB for Redis for quick access. The native SortedSet data type of Redis can readily help you develop player data.
Basic user data can be cached into CloudDB for Redis to improve the read performance. Static images and resources can also be cached into CloudDB for Redis to speed up application loading.
Data such as product images and recommendations can be stored in CloudDB for Redis for quick access. The QPS of up to 100,000 can sustain high concurrent requests, making it ideal for large-scale promotional campaigns like flash sales.
